Being one of the winning drivers of the mythical 24 Hours of Le Mans, is something that few people in this world can boast, and Miguel Molina, at the wheel of the Ferrari Hypercar, can say that he has done it two consecutive years.
Last Saturday, June 15, our dealership opened its doors for customers and enthusiasts of the brand, the day that the most important race of the year for Ferrari, the 24 hours of Le Mans, took place at the complicated circuit of La Sarthe, a track where anything can happen during 24 hours. Perhaps it is no coincidence, but for Ferrari, this circuit has become a talisman, as for the second year in a row has achieved victory.
Surrounded by clients and friends, at 4 p.m., we saw how the Ferrari Hypercar with the number 50, on the flying lap, started from the first position, to fight a duel throughout the race with its most direct rivals, the Toyotas and the Porsches that incessantly changed the positions of the race lap after lap.
Winning this year was a feat for many reasons, several accidents and rain caused the safety car to run for a long time on the track, which led the Ferrari 50 to finish the race with only 2% fuel in its tank.
In a relaxed atmosphere, we enjoyed three long hours of racing in our dealership, where all together we saw how the start of the race was complicated at times, by small touches or off-track of rivals.
Without even 48 hours having passed since his victory in Le Mans, the driver Miguel Molina, on Tuesday 18th appeared at Quadis Gallery Ferrari Barcelona, to the surprise of all our team and with the trophy won at the Circuit de La Sarthe. We had the opportunity to interview him, because as is evident, we have many doubts with reference to a race like Le Mans, one of the hardest to face in the world of competition.
Miguel, gave us many details, and especially emphasized that the victory is thanks to the years of development of the Ferrari Hypecar, in which they have invested many hours of work by the brand and the whole team, and that obviously, the victory was celebrated as a big family, something that is undoubtedly the DNA of the Prancing Horse.
You can watch the video of the interview, where Molina, clearly excited, told us about his work within Ferrari, as well as what is his main passion, the world of motorsport.
Once again this year we thank all the guests who supported the Ferrari team in this race that undoubtedly, after winning it two years in a row, leaves a clear message to the rest of the rivals from Ferrari.
