The day kicked off at Ferrari's VIP Hospitality area at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, where customers and guests gathered to enjoy a Ferrari experience. Pepe Oriola, driver and friend of the brand, opened the event with a warm welcome and presented the programme of activities planned for the weekend.
This was followed by the various Passione Ferrari activities: throughout the day and over the weekend, the brand offered its customers test drives guided by instructors, allowing them to get behind the wheel of models such as the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, the Ferrari Roma Spider and the 296 GTB. These test drives allowed participants to experience the dynamics, responsiveness and unique performance of each model.
Another highlight was the pit lane visits, during which attendees, accompanied by a driver, were given access to the pits to watch the teams prepare their Ferraris for the various competitions. One of the most intense moments was the grid walk, an opportunity to experience first-hand the tension and rituals that precede the start of a race, when drivers and mechanics finalise the details before hitting the track.
The Ferrari Challenge Series was present throughout the weekend; this single-make series, one of the most prestigious in the world, showcased the 296 Challenge competing in the Trofeo Pirelli, Trofeo Pirelli AM and Coppa Shell categories.
An unforgettable moment was when customers were able to drive their own Ferraris around the Catalan track. Models such as the Ferrari F8 Tributo, the Ferrari Roma, the Ferrari 296 GTB and GTS, as well as an impressive Ferrari 812 Competizione, were seen on the track.
At the end of an intense day at the Circuit, the evening reserved a gala dinner that was undoubtedly the most glamorous moment of the weekend. The Recinte Sant Pau, the venue chosen for the evening, was transformed into a magical place to welcome more than a hundred guests who enjoyed an experience where gastronomy and jazz came together in perfect harmony.
On Sunday, the activities resumed, both the Ferrari Challenge races and the activities for our customers. The morning reached its peak with the Parade Lap, in which all the Ferraris present drove around the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya track in a beautiful convoy that was cheered on by spectators who did not want to miss this iconic moment.
